With an eye for detail, Joy Newell first picked up a camera when she was 13 years old and hasn't put one down since. Starting with her siblings as captive subjects, she soon moved on to family friends and by the age of 14 landed her first wedding gig. In the past five years she has worked tirelessly to build up her portfolio, photographing models, musical artists and wedding events. She has been engaged in various commercial projects and her work has been featured in a number of publications. After graduating high school in the Spring, Joy Newell plans on continuing to study her art at university.
