Babak Mansouri was lucky enough to be born into a family of filmmakers.  His mother chose documentary filmmaking to expand and effect social change which heavily influenced and inspired Babak even as a child. He, too,  chose filmmaking as a tool for tackling issues like poverty and social injustice.  

 

Babak has many years experience, having worked on numerous music videos (think Goo-Goo Dolls, Shakira, Pink, to name but a few) and several independent feature films.  Currently working on one documentary about the scientific effects of spiritual music on the human brain and another that explores the perspective of  children on peace, freedom and faith.
