Ali Sahabi is the founding chairman of the Green Institute for Village Empowerment, www.giveforthefuture.org, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and promoting sustainable practices.

GIVE is the founding sponsor of the Green Valley Initiative, www.greenvalleynow.org, a nationally recognized regional economic development movement to create jobs through the promotion of clean and green technologies in inland Southern California.

His commitment to sustainability is reflected in his 2003 endowment of U.C. Riverside’s Edward J. Blakely Center for Sustainable Suburban Development, and in countless awards and recognitions.

Mr. Sahabi is passionate about the importance of sustainability, which he defines as a balance between individual, social, and environmental responsibility.  He recognizes the importance of film as a medium to reach people of all ages, backgrounds and interests.

Mr. Sahabi remains dedicated to spreading the message of sustainability and to inspire by example. 

Mr. Sahabi lives with his wife and daughter in Glendale, California.
